WEEK 8 - SELF-LOVE INQUIRY

Each week, you’ll receive a self-love inquiry challenge to explore! These are to keep you moving forward in your journey.

Continue with last week’s inquiry (my Alter)…Plus, you might like to start:

Create your boundaries statement (say it out loud and write it out):

'When you do 'x'...it makes me feel 'x'...it's important to me that you don't do 'x' anymore'

...Create a few! You can choose a current situation or a past situation. You don't have to literally say this to the person. Even if you write it and say it out loud before your meditation...it can be healing.

For example: 'When you ignore my requests for help that I really needed from you...it makes me feel small and invisible and alone, it's important to me that you don't ignore my requests anymore.'

Create your self-love ritual:
Open a fresh journal page and write at the top 'My Self-Love Ritual'...now start to jot down all the 'bits' you know you need for your empowerment journey.

Some foundational practices to include in your ritual:

  • Meditation: heart to womb, my sphere, breath space around your heart, etc.

  • Breathwork: breath up from pubic bone to throat, Kapalabhati breath, foot lotus breath, ocean breath, etc

  • Energy movement: from week 7 notes...do you need to send energy out? Receive energy in? Or drop/let go of energy?

  • My element: Do you want to connect to earth (grounding), water (flowing/expressive), fire (transformation/power), air (your wisdom/curiosity/intuition), or space (sensations, bliss, joy)?
